The space the old Hard Rock Cafe called home for years will soon be full of sugar. Bedrock announced today that Sugar Factory will open in One Campus Martius later this spring.
Expect colorful decor in the 233-seat restaurant, plus a candy store and outdoor seating. The restaurant touts itself as Instagrammable with "neon signs, floral walls, and a colorful candy heart wall."
“We are excited to bring our decadent dishes, sweets and treats to the Detroit community, which have been enjoyed by guests around the world for over a decade,” says owner Charissa Davidovici. “The energy and atmosphere of downtown and the One Campus Martius building is the perfect place for Sugar Factory’s family-friendly dining.”
Think big when it comes to the menu. Expect Flaming Hot Cheetos burgers, giant milkshakes, and sundaes that can serve up to 12 people. Sugar Factory also has an array of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) served up in a fishbowl-like goblet. A look at their menu also shows the numerous celebrities who have dined there.
Sugar Factory has locations across the country as well as Dubai. This will be the first in Michigan.
The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
