A new market, café, and bottle shop will open in March near downtown. Brush Park Bodega will offer Michigan-made products for the historic and rapidly growing neighborhood.
The market is located within The Residences at 2665 Brush, one of the new apartment buildings in City Modern. The space will have a light, airy feel, with a counter and tables for guests who want to sit down and eat (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) or drink - whether it's a bottle off the shelf or a cocktail. The shop will also have pick-up and delivery options.
“We’re excited to bring to Brush Park a local, convenient market with all the essentials, as well as exciting products from Detroit and Michigan vendors. Our goal with the concept was to make the entire shopping experience a whole lot more fun,” said Marcus Perez, Co-Owner/Founder of Brush Park Bodega. “As part of the Bodega’s development team and a Detroit resident as well, this project is especially meaningful to me, one that I’m sure will be a beneficial addition to the area.”
The market is currently looking for more Michigan-based products to sell, and those interested can contact Robert Harriman at robert@bodegamkt.com.
The market will open in mid-March.
