The Detroit Grand Prix returns downtown Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. Set-up has started, with grandstands and fencing up blocking certain areas. Starting today, streets involved with the Grand Prix will be closed off to traffic.
The Grand Prix runs down Jefferson and Atwater, Bates and Rivard. Streets leading up to Jefferson will be closed, as well as the streets surrounding Campus Martius.

Visitors are encouraged to park away and take public transit options downtown, including the Qline, bus, and People Mover (which will have extended hours). The tunnel from Windsor will be accessible from 375, as will parking for the RenCen.
