Sue Mosey will speak about the new developments and investment opportunities in New Center, on Jan. 28th, from 2 – 4 PM at BHHS The Loft Warehouse’s Developer Lounge, at 3434 Russell St. Sue is an icon of urban and economic development in Detroit. As Executive Director of Midtown Detroit Inc., she is associated with the renaissance and transformation of the Midtown neighborhoods. Midtown sets an example for what a vibrant, thriving community can become. Sue has orchestrated the influx of investment of over $100 million to the area, since she took over as Executive Director of the nonprofit in 1990, formerly known as the UCCA.

Having achieved so much, Midtown Detroit, Inc. has expanded is focus to include New Center. Affordable housing, attracting retail and food service businesses, and neighborhood stabilization have all been goals that Midtown Detroit Inc has achieved in post-Covid history. There is much more that Sue has in mind for the future of New Center, which will be the focus for her presentation on the 28th.
The event will start at 2 PM –with networking and refreshments until 2:30. Sue’s presentation will begin at 2:30, and there will be a Q and A session afterwards. The event is free, but space is limited, so RSVP and confirmation are required. This event will benefit developers, homeowners, businesspeople, investors, entrepreneurs, and residents of New Center.
